After Tracy bought one off Diesel distroyer i set to work on it.
this is how it came from Allan (he started to polish it himself)
after being attacked with a flap disc in an angle grinder
down to 400 grit paper
down to 2000 grit paper
after polishing with autosol
it isn't perfect but Tracy was happy with it
i will look forward to seeing it on Fizz

I know the work involved: I used to polish my sandcast Triumph motorbike crankcase halves to a shine: not as many nooks and crooks as an inlet manifold!
Epic job: still got your fingerprints?
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

just nitro-mors - it took loads to remove it - until i realised once the top coat was sanded then the nitro-mors was able to penetrate the paint.
it took longer to remove the paint than to sand down and polish up.
