Posted 10 years 8 months ago #140155As you may have previously seen in other threads on the subject and over on the 75 and ZT owners club, the MG Rover reproduction tax disc holders are now ready to go.
The finished product looks very impressive and has been well worth the wait. I realise that the tax disc in paper format my not be around for much longer but there are lots of folks that are going to use them for parking permits, club badges and copies of original tax discs etc.
The cost will be £5.60 per tax disc holder including postage and all items will be sent First Class. If you require more than one then I will only charge for postage once. So two holders would cost £10.60 and three would cost £15.60 etc, etc.
The forthcoming Royal Mail price increase will not effect price. If any of you require more than a few, please contact me as I may have to charge a little more if they don't fit into a standard envelope.
I will happily send overseas but won't know prices until I've checked with the Post Office on each item.
Please message me if you would like one and please don't forget to state your forum username and address when sending your payment through Paypal otherwise things get quite confusing!!
As previously stated, the tax disc holders are a group buy on another forum and I won't be making any profit on them or the postage. Just my small way of trying to give a little back to the forums, for some of the fantastic support which I have received from some of you in the recent past. T bar members included!

Posted 9 years 3 months ago #161524I bought a couple of these from you a while ago and they look great. I noticed quite a few cars at MGF20 last weekend with them - and also matching MG Rover Group registration plates (they could be original of course...)
I wondered if you knew how/where it's possible to get these registration plates made up as my 2005 TF is riding around with plates from the local Fiat/Lancia specialist from where I bought it.
Otherwise I wondered about asking a former MGR dealer still in business if they still had anything in stock to make up an old style MGR set of plates. However, the dealer my car came from is not still in business so that wouldn't really be authentic.
Best wishes

Posted 9 years 3 months ago #161629Brilliant to see people flying the MG Rover flag with my tax disc holders! As below Ken (on ebay) is amazing and will do a lovely set to match.
Well worth putting crisp clean plates on a car and I think it sets the whole car off

Posted 9 years 3 months ago #161726There seem to be a few orginal designs about. Also have a version which went into the MGR Fleet cars and that's different too. Also seen a fair few versions of OEM factory plates round too. Guess it must have kept the design department at Longbridge busy. After all they didn't spend much time designing new cars it would seem!!
