Well now here's a turn around!!
I've decided to continue and refurbish the leather seats and instead of fitting them I'm going to sell them on.
Instead I've just bought a pair of Sebring seats complete with door cards (as the above photo for anyone who doesn't already know), I'm still going to fit the heating elements for a nice cosy warm bum in the winter. This is partially due to a number of reasons, the main one being my good lady not being too keen on bloody hot leather seats in the summer when the tops been left down in the sun!

Sebring are a good choice and I'm with your old lady when it comes to dark leather in open topped cars - a case of Betty Swollocks.
