1/ It was taken at a different time of day (based the on shadows and the angle of the sun)

2/ There are less clouds in the sky.

3/ There are less leaves on the trees.

4/ There is a difference in the prospective from which the pix were taken.

5/ The trees have grown.

That's a light, not a 'squeal' feeder (our red squeals eat the beech nuts anyway)

Hi Cobber all probably true but there is something different on the car. Actually there are fewer trees if you look closely (but that's not it).

Yes, but we've had that one.

Have you swapped the alloys from 15" to 16"?

It's painted gloss black - but by a professional, not by me. I've always prefered the 'Mk1' black surround and my guess is MG Rover only changed it to body colour so that they could make more money (and they needed it) by selling colour coded hard tops which were always more expensive that the original gloss black. Should I have the mirror housings done too?

Richard

My TF has a spot of rust on the surround and this looks like a better solution than bodging it up - I have a friend who's handy with a paint gun so with any luck, he'll be able to do it for me. :)

I'd leave the mirrors myself - my 115 has black ones and I want them colour coding. I always think they look a little cheaper when they don't match the paintwork.
