Rear subframe removal

Rear subframe removal was created by john and Jake the dog

Hi, is it possible to remove the rear subframe from a 1.6 TF without disturbing the engine/gearbox.
Thought it may be a job later on to restore or replace the subframe.

Yes, the whole thing is modular and the engine and gearbox come out as part of the subframe.

Or did you mean, can you remove the subframe while leaving the engine and gearbox in the car?

That's the one, thanks.
I was hoping I could lower it without disconnecting all the engine connections. Looks like I'll have to do what I can with it in situ.
