After finding my windbreaker down the side of my living room side board it was time to get rid of this Fag burn (previous owner) and faded mesh I used some replacement mesh I found on EBAY sometime ago
Unpicked the stitching and peeled the glue off the old mesh.
Once the mesh was off the new mesh was cut to size using the old mesh as a template cutting slightly bigger so it can be pulled taught when stitching the binding back over.
I used some glue to tack the bottom of the mesh only to the bottom rail of the frame to hold it in place whilst the binding was stitched on
All finished quite tricky to keep the mesh tight with one hand and stitching with the other but its turned out very nice
You can see from the old mesh how faded it had become

Good job , well done that man. I am eagerly awaiting the delivery of my windstop from Newton Commercial, just hope that its a straight forward job of fitting it. Then my better half might not be as bothered when the top is down. :bat: John
