Fuse box fire risk!
There is a cautionary tale on page 88 of this month's Enjoying MG. A 2001F driver found his lights & wipers cutting out on a dark & damp drive home. He limped back and lifted the bonnet to find the fuse box hot to touch even though externally it seemed fine. He removed the outer and inner covers and found the screw connecting the battery totally loose and the surrounding area melted. He need a new fuse box but the car was close to burning like a Ferrari.
I've just checked the screw on my 2001F (bottom right on the picture - sorry my annotated pictures refuse to load) and while it wasn't really loose it was easy to tighten by 30 degrees
Please report any issues you find.

I hid my fuse to the power roof in that little fuse box, and tightened all the screws just in case - all managed a small tweak!

Checked mine this morning and nearly half a turn to tighten. Thanks for heads up.
