Well first post so here goes.
I've just bought a TF160, high mileage but in good condition but no MoT. MoT test identified front subframe mount and a wishbone needing replacement, in anticipation I'd already bought the plusgas. What wasn't expected was a crack in a wheel rim, this I've had welded and intend to use it as the spare.
But can anyone identify the type of wheel?

I think they are the VERY rare Ultra Light Wheels!

Yep sure are:

Ultra-Light weight (ULW)

Hi
Thanks for your reply
I've an uneasy feeling about this - my wallet is going to take a hit
Do you mean the option sport pack wheels manufactured by Technomagnesium ?
My wheels have no identification on the inside of the rim and it's machined fully, there are no casting marks to indicate they were cast for MGR.

The ultra lightweight wheels were an extra £400 each, over and above the wheels fitted as standard. they also have a different offset making the track wider. mainly used for racing.

Now had time and a bit of decent sunlight to look for any part numbers. S**s law states that the weld repair is in the middle of a string of very faint stampings as follows

RRC00 Z 40LEH TES JAPAN 7JJX16 26 02 3 XXX 00199
The XXX is actually or possibly a trademark that looks like JWL. I'll try to get a photo.

We're the ULW wheels manufactured in Japan?

The part number is very similar to the part number for the ULW wheels and is probably what they are.
Thanks Adam, I was being wary as a well-known MG seller on eBay was totally adamant that they were aftermarket and totally untraceable
