Good grief, !! I cant stand rats. I could do with a wide sort of tape that I could stick to the cover that had something on the outer side that could stop cats jumping on the mgf in the first place.

We had Nick Mason (drummer of Pink Floyd) Golf VR6 in when I worked at the local VW/Audi dealership after it suffered the same to the loom under the dash by mice, the insurance company nearly wrote it off.

I like cats..and it may seem to some people a good idea to put bowls of coolant out for them to drink.........but in my eyes it aint a good idea at all....coolant will be ingested by dogs,birds..hedghogs,..even kids



i think if theres going to be a issue with a roof getting damaged on a mg...then kick the shit out of the owner!or invite them round for a bowl of anti freeze :bat:

I'm sure that nobody was serious with their suggestions, I can't even swat a spider let alone harm a cat, me being a non violent person . What does annoy me is how our neighbourhood cats get chucked out in the morning when their owners go to work then if they are lucky get let in at bedtime. We have to contend with cleaning up cat poo out of our garden on a daily basis, yak! If we let our dog do its toilet in everyone else's garden there would be something to say about it I'm sure.

ive got 2 cats which i choose not to run free....they have a cat flap which goes to a run..which was once my dogs run......i would never of let my dog roam free on his own...so i decided my cats wont niether......the use of a run means they get some freedom without causing any mg owners mischief.....also they can checkout the bird population without killing them....A coolant leak on our industrial estate killed the nesting birds.....we found them dead about the place ........a photograph i took of a historic vehicle showed clearly the coolant in the rain puddles near by.....its a deadly substance.....which should be made bitter to the taste like some brands :hgf:

Where I live anything that roams,don't roam for long..ours have travelled with us and enjoyed stopping in our static caravan in wales...so they are romany
