Surplus to requirements, I have a set of TF MG Rover roll-over hoops for sale, price £50.
In excellent condition, they would need to be collected from near Winchester.

Hi,
They are chrome - it is a bit dark now but I will take some photos in the morning and post them - if I get the procedure right!

Just a quick note for your info, but most of you will probably know this anyway.
These are MG-Rover MK.1 hoops that fit behind the T-Bar and seat belt anchors.
If you have a glass rear window in your soft top, they will stop you from lowering your roof.
Only fit if you have a plastic rear window. A bargain at £50! don't forget the brackets, the guy who sold me my MK.2 did not include the brackets and I had to wait 2 weeks to get them as he had jetted off on holiday the next day!

Hello Ian,
That's fine - my number is 01962 734033 . Just a note of caution with reference to Sundance's comments - I just removed the hoops when I bought the car a year ago, and was not aware of the existence of separate brackets. The car is presently in Bramdean Garage having an MOT and exhaust repair, so I cannot check the bracket situation at the moment.
Regards,
abingdonman (Paul Rundell)

Paul,
As the hoops are functional, the brackets bolt under the seat belt anchors, the strongest point in that area. Just unbolt the reels and remove before refitting the seatbelts again. Ten minute job, also there should be a couple of high tensile bolts that bolt through the brackets and hoops.
