Does anyone know which MG rover dealer had the code H8328?
Apparently they only sold 83 cars so must have been quite small?
One of them was mine and I'm interested to find out where it came from!

Hi, If you are on any of the Facebook forums (I know I shouldn't swear) contact a guy named Adrian Clifford, he will do you a heratage certificate with the date it was made, dealer who sold it, and all sorts of interesting facts

I'm actually trying to help Adrian Clifford????
My F was delivered by a dealer that he has no information on. All we know is that it was registered in Wimbledon so the dealer must be reasonably local to there. We thought posting this in a few places might trigger someone's memory. Or better still, someone else have a car from this dealer complete with the history so we can tie them together...

There was a dealer in Wimbledon, MG Rover Wimbledon at 400 Durnsford Road.
Today there's a Sainsbury's but the building could have been a car dealership before...

That's really good - I'm still waiting to hear from Adrian if this one is on his lists or not. I've sent off a V888 request to DVLA as well in case that throws something up.

OK - just when that was looking promising... it is already known. Dealer number H9890. They only sold 6 cars, so definitely the sort of place we are trying to locate around Wimbledon. Has anyone got any more ideas?!

Seems there was another MG/Rover/BL/Jaguar... dealership in Wimbledon: Mann Egerton.
No idea until when they sold MGs...




UPDATE
Apparently their car dealership dept. was sold to Inchcape plc in 1973 already.
Did they continue to sell MGs?

I have a gut feeling Mann Egerton stop selling MGs long before the F came out.

Maybe this will help? I found an MG service sticker in the car. The "personal technician" was a Tim Rudd. Has anyone come across him in the past and if so, at what dealership?
