Hi all the names Mark thanks for having me.
Im new to the forum and MG ownership just picked up this 2004 135 TF this morning in not very good weather conditions lol.
Its not in the best nick cosmetically unfortunately but got it for a song.
Has had some engine work recently like head gasket, all belts, full service inc the HT leads etc. Its also had the SS under floor pipes, 160 AP front brakes, Janspeed Xpower exhaust and a new racing green hood and frame.
Defo gonna be spending some money on body work and also a few more upgrades but a decent little base for very little money.

:welcome: looks like a sound basis to begin your TF journey. Plenty of excellent advice on the forum.

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

We're you not the least bit tempted to drive it back with that roof down?

Welcome to the T-Bar, your new toy looks sound enough and its got the engine done, big brakes, trophy spoiler and glass rear window. A bit of TLC on the bodywork and you will have a desirable and appreciating in value car!
Remember...summer is coming...
Oh and when the weather improves, just check out the subframe mounting brackets and lower wishbones for corrosion...they are quite prone to the dreaded tin worm!

Hi sundanceUK, its defo had some pennies spent on its oilier bits. Suspension and steering wants a refresh gonna do all poly bushes and new wishbones etc maybe new discs and pads and a good clean and service on the calipers, But paint is in a pretty sorry state though, badly faded and a few bubbles mainly on the front wings and bonnet which should be an easy fix just swap them for better items.
Bumpers are coming of to do a splitter of some sort on the front for better downforce and satin black paint the inserts.
Defo got some work ahead but looking forwrd to it missed getting the spanners out.
Another plus is its had the underside cleaned and treated by a company called Krown rustproofing in Tipton with a 5 year warranty.
