It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

I then had a blue pedal car, it looked a bit like this one
only mine had tail fins!
Then were the odd trike, scooter and bike, then when I was 7, dad built me an offroad gocart, chain driven by a Villers lawn mower engine and featuring a drum brake from a BSA motorbike and fortunately a seat belt. As it didn't take me long to crash it head on into a tree!

Ah they were the days. I still have the scars from riding one of those. Although it was fine at first because where i lived it was flat, then then went and built this

Funny you should say that. We did tie a rope to the bridge and launched off a convenient row of storage sheds. Twang as the rope snapped. Down we went, we did bounce but not very high

John and Sue wrote: Ah, the old Pram wheel special: we called 'em trolleys oop North. Being hard men, we didn't bother with asteering rope: steered with the feet. Also no brake: trust for a flat bit at the end of the run or feet out. A traditional build had the big Pram wheels at the back.
Bogies in my part of the world.Nothing to do with
