I have bought a few nice stainless steel badges recently from an E-Bay vendor called 1972dragon - his real name is Rich.
They are of exceptional quality, finely laser cut and really impressed me.
Rich told me he also supplies coloured acrylic and carbon fiber effect badges too.
He also asked me that he is on the lookout for new ideas and custom jobs, so if you have anything you want designing and making, give him a shout.
Rich can be contacted at [email protected]
Here is a pic of the stainless items he sent to me.

The long MG logo with the X-POWER will hopefully go on my inlet manifold when polished up....something similar to a colleague at my local MG club did....see the picture below....the smaller MG logo is for a secret project I have bubbling away in the back of my mind...the larger octagon is spare until I find a use for it.

sorry but can not understand why you should put this on the inlet manifold when you cannot see it, like the MG signs tho.:broon:

Its visible from the boot.
The idea is for some club members to have a nice shiny underbonnet and boot area. When at shows they also raise the boot and bonnet to show what they can of the engine bay and bonnet.
I was rally awestruck when I saw Martin Biddle's (the guy in the Potteries and South Cheshire MG Club who originally showed me the idea) car, that I thought it was worthwhile doing.
As I do go to the odd show, I have already done a lot of underbonnet work and also done a bit of tidying up in the engine bay.
I suppose its just a case of what ends you want to go to achieve excellence.
On another forum, a guy called Rich in Vancouver (yes that's his residence) has removed his bonnet cover and fitted a laminated glass screen and illuminated his engine bay. It looks most effective too...may have a crack at this too...then a polished manifold will really stand out.

Rich is a member on here too.

Several folks have done the clear engine cover, I considered it but as I tend to be roof down there isn't much point.
