I've broken with tradition and ordered the Kindle version, but am already wondering if that was a mistake... You could plot the jobs I've done frequently in the past by the oily finger prints on the various pages of my Haynes manuals...

yup, Im impatient so went for kindle today. Its not bad, but really only covers things you could find with a few days trawling forums on the web. Its not as in-depth as his restorations book was.
That said, I may well buy the paperback too... just for the sake of completeness.
As commented, when flicking through my collection of manuals and finding some pages with many oily fingerprints, and the occasional tear drop or blood spatter, is a great reminder of all the jobs done... a bit like pins in the map... You dont get that with a kindle
