Text messages are 150 characters long. The big differences are that modern phones string several messages together and most phone contracts have large text message bundles and there are more convenient messaging formats such as whatsup, Instagram and facebook messenger.

My first phone was an own brand one from Peoples Phone who became the retail arm of Vodafone.

Pocket.

When I get around to it I will be fitting the DAB/Bluetooth unit out of my ZS but that is currently low on the list, I the meantime I don't use the phone when driving and have a sat nav for mapping.
