Hi.
Can I use hylomar blue to seal the block to bearing ladder, got the sealant kit from rimmer
but when I opened the bottle there was only a little dollop in the bottom , they are sending more but I would like to get on with it 😤
Thanks.

Personally I wouldn't. The Rover sealant is specific for the K series engine .

The thing is I bought a engine block from timers that had been taken of the production line and the stuff they had on was a thick black rubbery material ,
not atall like the sealer they sent .

I presume you refer to Hylomar blue. It's great stuff for sealing joints but it is not good practice to mix sealants so it's a no-no. I would wait for Rimmers to forward the correct stuff if I were you. Hylomar is a joint sealant and not an adhesive as far as I am aware.
