Subframe blanking plugs
On my TF the access holes for the suspension mounting bolt has tape covering them. I've read that this was a cost saving measure and the F had blanking plugs on these - is this part no. KGN10002? If not, where do these go?

I don't know when they started using those blanking plugs on the F/TF, but the early Fs had tape covering the holes.

I have to admit the tape does work. When I did my front wishbone bushes the tape was still intact. I replaces it with new gaffer tape and a quick spray of bottom guard protector and it should be good until next time.

My '99 F had tape on the front and blanking plugs on the rear subframe.
