Strange brake light issue

When I lock the car the 3rd brake light briefly flashes then again on superlocking and on unlocking.

Any ideas??

You have broken wires by the hinge on the boot lid.

Home to black Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 V6 Q4 ,green MGF VVC and red MG Maestro T16.

They were repaired and extended a while back.

Third brake light is an add on wired directly to lamp unit.

I'll try to post a video up later.
