combined wash/wipe
hi there-
has anyone out there got a SCU equipped MGTF( 2004 onwards) that has the combined wash and wipe working?
That is when the wash stalk is activated you get an automatic wipe occurring ( just like on more modern vehicles)
I know that pre SCU MGF/TF can be modified to do this but my 2005 MGTF does not do the combined function and I am sure that it should ,
Regards
Mike

Gavin,
thanks but Rogers book mod relates to the models before SCU equipped cars.
I am wondering if the combined wash/wipe function was a dealer programable option like for fog light enabling, the wire link between the wash motor feed and the SCU is present .
what I really need is someone with a SCU mgtf 2005 onwards to check if there car has the function working.
thanks

Hi .
My 05 TF does not wipe the screen when the washers are operated and I am not aware that any TF has this as standard .

John,
thanks for your reply -it would appear, from Information I have from Paul Brown ( Technozen) , that combined wash/wipe is an option that needs to be programmed into the SCU.
There are other options available (a list is available on his site)
