Car cover?
I’ve decided I want to use a cover on the car during the winter (which lasts about 10 months here), and wondered about people’s experiences? There was one in the boot of the car when I bought it, but it’s pretty crap – the elasticated bits aren’t tight enough to hold it on, so it just blows off again. Probably the wrong size for the TF, I don't know.
It also has long nylon ties attached, but honestly, by the time you’ve tried to feed them underneath the car and out the other side while it’s flapping around in the gale, then managed to tie a bow tight enough to hold it in place etc, you’ve pretty much lost the will to live.
Any recommendations/comments please?

that happend to me last year, pain in the rear, i ended up useing bundgy cords with the metel hooks and a peace of string with a spanner attached. through the spanner under the car after tying it to the bundgy courd, and fix to the other side worked ok, the ones to fit the mgtf are like rocking horse dung to get hold of, and when you do find one they want a kings ransome for it, good luck and all the best.

I was looking for a car cover a few years back...on looking I discovered some very nasty examples....some were no more than a cheap chinese made sheets of plastic with elastic in each corner.....has my tf is garaged ...the tf wasn't the car I was looking to cover...I looked for a cover for our kia cerato.....later examples are called the ceed....If I remember right it was around £20-£30...it was grey in colour and had a lining...it was a breathable type....one weekend I worked on the kia and the tf was outside....I put the cover on and it fitted perfect...no elasticated strings to mess with...it hugged the car and coverd the wheels ..hugging the tf around the front and rear bumpers...still got it but last winter it was left in a workshop I have and mice took a liking to its taste or wanted the lining for there beds...might go back to the same shop this holiday and see if I can get a replacement...
