FUD100610 or FUG000030 for boot lock
I have a late 2004 TF115 and want to fit a remote boot switch. I've seen reference to both the above actuators from other Rover models being fitted to TFs. My understanding is that the FUG000030 is driven open only, but FUD100610 is driven open and closed for locking. Does this mean that FUD doesn't return by spring when power is removed, or does it have a spring return, and the locking is by applying a seperate voltage? Any guidance appreciated.

Closing the boot lid locks it so you only need an actuator that unlocks.

Thanks. The question I should have asked is can you use FUD100610 on a TF and just wire it up to open the boot only?

Brilliant, many thanks, that makes life easier, there are more FUDs than FUGs available.😀

Following on, can you confirm which pins on the socket to connect to please - I haven't got a FUD yet, but I believe they have more than 2 pins?
Ignore me - just found a thread on the MGF Register which confirms it only has two pins.
