As is customary at about this time of year
MOT tester 1 : Hesketh 0
This year's woes are 2x rear track rod ends on the tie bars, and the ever problematic high CO emissions.
So, this week I are be mainly :
* Cleaning my K&N
* Cleaning my MAP sensor
* Cleaning my IACV
* Resetting my TPS
* Filling my tank with wynns
* Swapping track rod ends
* Oil and filter change
* Crossing fingers!
If I've missed anything obvious please feel free to suggest

Does fitting t/r/e's = 4wheel alignment check?

Yes, well it should really.
The process is straight forward enough https://www.the-t-bar.com/forum/54-how-tos/73450-mgf-rear-track-control-arm-how-to?start=0
.. and what I normally do for any rod ends is to scribe a line on the rod and measure to the centre point of the joint using a caliper, and set the new one up to the same distance. Simply counting the turns of thread isn't always accurate.
When I did the front ones last year I had a full 4w align and it was so close from my setup that they didn't bother adjusting anything. Still charged me £30 mind you!
I may see how it "feels" after the swap and then decide if I want to waste another £30
