Re-purposing MG parts.

Late in the program they point out that the rear view mirror wasn't standard fit but the pilot wanted to see who was behind so fitted a mirror from a MG.
Do you know of any other examples.

I saw it; I think it was a couple of years ago if it's the same programme. I enjoyed it v much. If it's been on recently, I'll watch it again on catchup.
I spend a lot of time at Brightlingsea on the Colne/Blackwater estuary and every now and again someone flies a Spitfire over and gives it a proper workout over the estuary. Awesome sight and awesome sound!
