MGTF rear speaker wire colours

Just fitting Satur rear hoops and I've come across strange colours for the wires from the rear 4 pin connector to the speakers. RH wires (viewed from the rear) large connector (+) green/brown, small connector purple/white. LH wires large connector brown, small connector red - surely red should be positive.
Just doesn't make any sense to me, and it isn't butchered because it has the original white 4 pin centre connector and the speaker connectors look "factory made".
Are the colours shown in the wiring diagram for the TF only correct to the "car side" of the rear speakers? None of the colours tie in with the TF wiring diagram.

If it works I wouldn't worry about it.
It is easy to do crimps like that with the correct tools, when I try hard I can do them like that.
