Re-setting the service indicator - Chinese TF's

It doesn't seem that this topic has been discussed for about 4 years - I can't find anything on more recent on the forum.
Just had my car serviced by a local (very competent) garage but they can't re-set the digital indicator.
They tried with both their analytical computers but they only show the earlier TF diagnostics which obviously were updated when production went to China.
Anyone have any updated advice?

P-Scan software on a laptop can reset the service indicator via OBD port. Have used it and works fine.
