Hi all,

I need to re glue all carpet velcros as they have all come loose.
Which glue have u used or would you recommend?

I tried double sided sticky tape and a hot melt glue gun. Both didn't work very well.
I think evostick would fair better.

A latex glue like Copydex is usually recommended for carpets

Evostik is a contact adhesive. You apply it to both surfaces and wait till it goes tacky (almost dry) before putting them together.

+1 for a contact adhesive. The only proper way to glue a carpet.

In the netherlands they dont sell evostick but there are alike alternatives. Thanks for your help!

Would replacing the Velcro be a better idea?

Or heavy duty double sided sticky tape such as carpet tape.
