Main Power Lead from the Starter to the Alternator

Hi, Hope everyone is keeping Safe.

The Lead I am talking about is the BROWN one that 'piggy backs' on the Starter Motor Post and goes from the Starter Motor Post to the B1+ Terminal on the Alternator.

I have 12 Volts of power as this wire disappears into the Wiring Harness and Nothing at what I believe is the other end where it emerges from the Harness to connect to the Alternator.

For some while I have had electrical issues, missing engine, alarms going off and finally the charging light was continuously on, so I decided to do something about it.

The Alternator Diodes were burnt to a crisp, replaced the Alternator still not charging happening. Bridged a new wire between the Starter Motor and Alternator and everything works perfectly.

After cutting the OLD BROWN wire flush with the harness on both ends to avoid any electrical shorts I suddenly thought does the Brown Wire go anywhere else en-route between the Starter and Alternator.

Does anyone happen to know....

Don't know for certain but looking at the wiring diagram (section 15.1 and 15.2) and assuming you haven't got a steppy or zircon, the brown wire appears to go directly from the alternator to the starter motor.
