Upgrading MGTF Headlights
Hi All
Wish to improve my 2004 TF headlight beams - dipped and full.
Have gone over various forum(s) comments over the years, and with some confusion cannot get a firm answer on what headlamp bulbs to use as replacements for theMGR standard bulbs. (Nightbreakers, Ring etc).
Then, there is the other option HIDS, Some say illegal some do not indicating MOT passes. Again very confusing.
All I want is to improve headlight efficiency with a simple upgrade.
Any suggestions?

I've never changed any of the bulbs in my TF. I have fitted
OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER LASER H7
to my MB Vito. They are definitely brighter than the original bulbs.
I cannot remember which bulbs the F/TF takes offhand but the night breakers are available in H1, H3, H4, H7, H8, H11, HB3, HB4.
Daytime Running Lights are a worthwhile addition.

Philips do an uprated bulb with a blue coating which gives a better whiter light. The blue tint cuts the bluer spectrum so the light appears cleaner.
