dimmer switch and mirror adjuster
Three times I have needed to take the instrument shroud off the binnacle lately, each and every time I attempt to unplug the instrument dimmer and the wing mirror adjuster then give up and move it to the side still connected. The how to's are brilliant and would be even better if the photo's were still there, can anything be done about this? I intend to do a couple of how to's and I will do them from the viewpoint of a complete and utter idiot (me).
Please don't just say unplug the cable explain exactly how preferably with a bloody big picture of the clip and its release mechanism, rant over.
So has anyone got a bloody big picture of the cable connections with an explanation of what bit to pull/push, I think the white nylon one (mirror?) may have a bit snapped off prob the bit I have to push/pull, I have tried levering up what I think is the clip with a thin screwdriver but if I'm wrong I'll break it.
