An apology and a repair.
It's my fault. No sooner had I got the car home than I removed the hardtop. This has clearly angered the Weather Gods and I haven't seen a dry minute since. Sorry. The Scotchgard on the roof was partially effective and I suspect that if I go and buy a litre of Fabsil, it will rain until July.
The heater vent on my side had become completely deranged, the flaps not being attached to the swivelling mechanism so using the correct tools I prised it from the dashboard, Took it inside, stripped and repaired it and will refit it in the morning.
