How many miles?
Hi all,
Just out of curiosity, having recently done the HG change...
How many miles can I realistically expect to get from a full tank on my 1.8 TF135?
I asked the previous owner, but she said that she only ever put in £20 at a time so had no real idea! Would be nice to have some sort of average figure to compare to!
Thanks in advance
Andy

How long is a piece of string? I suspect having just done the HG you will get low to mid 30's mpg but once you get your confidence in it back expect it to fall !!!!!!!!!!

On a long run in the summer I got just over 40 mpg from my 1.8 TF. It is a big tank btw, I squeezed in £68 on my last big fill.

How long is a piece of string?
I'd hazard a guess that it would be double the length from the middle to either end
Joking aside... thanks for the numbers folks, gives me something to go on!

About 42 MPG over 500 miles of varied driving , some of it quite spirited - early VVC on a 3.95 gearbox.

I have an 1.8 mgf mpi and doing a MPG test a few years back I got 38 mpg, this was on a 200 mile run from South London to Arundel, then Eastbourne along South Downs and back to London.
