Gearbox oil, refill was created by Bobb

Hi Everyone,
Where is best to refill the gearbox?
Is there a refill plug?
Of do I remove the reversing sensor?
Do I gain access from above the engine bay?
Sorry for all the questions, but I’m a total novice.

Hi Bobb,
I've just done this recently, with the car raised. Found it easy to do, using an oil syringe. There is a drain plug, as well as a fill/level plug, takes approx 2ltrs to refill.

17mm filler, consider replacing the aluminium washer. The drain plug can be removed with a 3/8 wrench

Dont forget, undo the filler plug before the drain plug!!!

Nothing worse than draining the oil, then finding the filler plug is corroded solid, and you cant get it out!!!
