Door card plastic clips
Those stupid plastic clips that take the 2 screws thru the card in the door shut area, the ones that split when you show them a screw, I think I over engineered a replacement but at least they cost less than a £1 for each clip.
I used small 19 mm angle brackets (£1 for 10) which I drilled out to take M6 coach bolts which have a square under the head which handily locates in the door pressing square hole, this means you don't need a spanner on the back of the bolt (awkward). The other end of the angle bracket has a speed clip on it which is probably the weak point and if it fails will cost 5/10p to replace.

Top class idea. I had loads of those angles rocking around home here, so a perfect replacement for the broken clip when I put the door soundproofing in this week.
