Well now that we have the seats and interior back in our 99 MGF, we discovered the clock doesn't work, which I understand is quite common!
However should it be permanently lit, and if not, do we we just take the bulb out? I'm just concerned it will drain the battery.
(Does look pretty in the dark though 😁)
Whilst the clock itself should always be powered up, so as it can keep the time, the illumination should switch off with the lights.
Check the pin outs for the wiring for the clock, maybe the power feed to the clock has been switched with the power feed for the illumination of the clock that would explain the constant illumination of the clock and why it won't work....infact try seeing if the clock works when the lights are on!
