Back lit dash dials

Hi all
Has anyone successfully converted the MGF/TF fron lit dash clocks to back lit.
Meaning that when the lights are switched on, the numbers/between number marks and rev counter red line/fuel/coolant signs lights from the rear instead of the front.
would there be any interest in this modification.
I have seen that it has been attempted but that company doesnt do it anymore.
