current MG range
Does one of you own a current MG model - MG6 or MG3? Or did have a chance to drive it for some time at least?
I'm just wondering about the feeling and quality of these cars - unfortunately we do not have a MG dealership here in Eire, so no chance to drive them.
Are they just cheap Chinese cars or is there something of the MG spirit left?

Not driven one but have sat in both and they actually surprised me. Quality of the trim and finish is excellent. Didn't look cheap and plasticy to me, although it couldn't be compared to an Audi obviously. But value for money and equipment wise they are great. Sat in the new MG3 about a month ago and the interior is lovely. A recent article in MG Enthusiast had a low mileage 12 reg MG6 for sale with a full LPG conversion for under 10k. Amazing value for money really

Having seen the 6 and the 3 - i have to admit the 6 is boring as hell.
The 3 has potential but they really need to get the can opener on the roof soon. :yesnod:

Having seen both close up at various MG shows neither did it for me. We will probably move away from MG when ours wear out.
