36 cars (25 main ones) in er.... 30 years - either I kept them for 1.2 years each or 0.83 if you include the Funday cars. Odd as some of them kept for four years or so :)

Well over 60 cars since 1978 (not including company cars that'd push it to over 80 and cars belong to other family members, that I used on a regular basis, would push it much, much further) it would seem that both my sister and I inherited our fathers car collecting gene.

I'm sure I had a go at listing on 'em here in a previous, similar topic-ed thread.

Some of 'em memorable, some forgettable, some great, some bloody awful, but all of them left me richer for the experience, and most, poorer in the bank account!

26 cars since August 1972. Doesn't sound too many except I've had my Rover 25 for nearly 10 years and a Skoda Favorit for 7.

Ford Corrina mk4 1978 - heap of junk. Stolen and dumped in a pond.
Mini mk1 1967 - fab car. Sold it on.

Volvo 740 1988 - bought to do up... Scrapped before it was ever on the road!

1984 Mini Mayfair ( first car, metallic paint and a velour interior, both light blue)
1985 pug 205 1.1 (so underpowered it was dangerous, but had 5 doors )
1986 Pug 205 1.6 GTi (less doors, but much more power and fun)
1988 Honda Accord 2.0 exi (pass down off Dad, air conditioned auto with cruise control - plush)
1998 Mazda 323 zxi 2.0 v6 ( sounded awesome over 4k rpm)
1995 rover 218 SLD ( economy drive and an electric sunroof )
2001 Subaru legacy outback 2.5 ( brilliant car, I fell for climate control, heated leather and 2 sunroofs)
2000 Pug 206 1.9 HDi ( faster economy drive that made strange noises )
2003 Saab 9-3 Vector 2.2tid ( broke often but looked beautiful )
2007 Honda Accord 2.2 CDTi Sport Tourer ( power tailgate sold me, cost me a lot of money though)
2007 Honda Civic 1.8 ES ( wife's car from new, faultless touch wood and current daily driver)
2010 Volvo XC60 d5 ( it's ok, current daily driver as well)
2000 MGF 1.8 currently getting ready for its first real MOT in 2 years after I bought it in August '13 off a neighbour for £400. Seemed cheap but mot test after I bought it revealed that it needed brakes all round, 4 tyres, boot lid electrics, new light clusters, gear box mount, track rod end and a ball joint. Oh, plus all the orange bulbs replacing. I might be out of pocket but I'm having fun putting it right!

Hey just found this on a quiet work morning, here we go......

Test passed in 1999 so 15 years and 8 cars not counting the joint cars with the wife!

1st car; K reg Ford Feista 1.1L gear box seized on the way to Glencoe and subsequently was put down.
2nd car: H reg Ford Feista XR2i loved this car, first one i had a go at modding myself wrecked the cylinder head though! only cost my £550 wish i could get a decent one now for that!
3rd car: 03 reg MGTF 1.6, yellow with blue hood, got this when i got my first real job and was still at home.
4th car: M reg FTO GPX, again loved this car although the brakes were like milk bottle tops! Full HKS super dragger exhaust, induction kit, coilovers then some woman in a corsa drove into the side of me and wrote it off  learned a valuable lesson with this car, modding rules - make it stop, make it handle then make it go faster!
5th car: H reg XJ40 soverign (at the same time as the FTO) got with no tax / MOT fixed it up and sold it on.
3 years of just using the wifes car then.
6th car: 52 reg VX220, custom wrap, stage 2 remap, piper exhaust, fully adjustable GAZ pro suspension, upgrade discs and pads, racing clutch, billet fly wheel, 16/17" team dynamic alloys, fast road set up, ludicris car to drive into corners! then i got a job where i was driving 300+ miles per week going to meetings and getting in and out that in a suit was not easy plus the heater was crap, i got soaked in the winter (when i dared to drive it) an experience though!
7th car: 55 reg Ibiza Cupra r, stage 1 remap, wow it ate alot of fuel!
8th car: 03 reg MGTF 160 Sunstorm

My history is full of fords and faux halls

Here we go

1999 vauxhall corsa b 1.2 16v sxi - first car had it for 18 months
2006 vauxhall corsa 1.4 sxi+ - bought brand new but then spent a small fortune and turned it into a show car , 18 inch alloys , full wide arch kit , tinted windows , lowered on coilovers ,full stainless exhaust system, kn induction kit , angel eye headlights ,4k sound system,Clifford g5 total closure alarm , the list goes on and on.
2007 fiesta st150 - bought brand new and blew the gearbox into a thousand pieces within 3 months . . . Ford repaired it under warranty but got rid after only12 months of ownership
1988 vw scirrocco gt - fancied summet retro and always loved them from when my dad had one when I was a kid
1998 ford fiesta 1.3 encore - my uncle had owned it from new so when he had a new car I snapped it up
1997 ford escort gti - got bored how boring the fiesta was so bought myself this gti my dad had an rs2000 at the time
2000 vauxhall corsa b 1.6 16v sport - escort was a problem child so part exchanged it for this , my mrs ended up having it and turning it In to a show car , full wide arch kit and custom one off respray in pearl pink to name just a few of the many many mods that was done to it
