what's that part?

while changing oil and filter today I found this part pinched behind the oil filter:



Timing belt tensioner?? Anything else??

At least I know that it was changed... :slapme:

Could be the sliding spacer off the alternator!

I was going to suggest the spacer off the alternator bolt.

If it os and you don't want can I gave it pretty please? I lost mine after the bolt snapped following an alternator change by some super strength grease monkey in a lorry garage - but that's another story.
