That is exactly what i`m looking for (hence 70 pounds for a set on e-bay is a little steep imo) , just to lower the front end a hair just for the looks .
See if i can find a pair of blanks here in Holland so the only thing i need to do is drill and tap the hole for the shrader , just looked for taps and a die and they will also set me back 50 pounds for the set.
You should be able to buy an end cap from a plumbing supplier for bugger all……..much less trouble than machining one up.
Thanks , that will safe me machinine one part , still have to machine one that holds the shrader valve to pressure up the single spheres on the front .
