Ah ok, but I presume the wiring in the back was always the same?
Anyhoo I am not sure my last post had the pic attached - so here are the so called 'instructions' that the seller has sent to me...

Hi yes I totally agree - hence why I still genuinely have no real clue what wires to attach where. I think I will add the coloured wires to the back of the switch connector in order shown in the picture/diagram I attached before, but I then don't know on which cables to then piggy back/connect them to?

I went back to the seller who was able to send me the following to 'help' me? Can anyone make sense of it with regard to what I currently have in the car? Thanks ever so much as always!!

Hi and sorry I have taken a few days to reply - sadly I have been laid up in bed and so not managed to achieve anything at all! My plan is to crack on with it all towards the end of this week! Re: your question - I am not too sure about TF and F switches.. all of mine are the same and the one that came with the pack seems to be the same too....

Hi guys - here is a picture of the front fogs/spots.... they were always an optional extra on these cars were they not!

Hi there Cobber, or should I say 'G'day' (me old Cobber!)?! ;-)

OK so are you referring to the earth wire that is under the hood (blue in colour)?

I will go take a pic of the front fog/spots now and post up!

Hopefully you can see the last two pics - they are viewing as attachments for me and not in the message body...not too sure why thats happened?!

Hi Cobber.  They are the actual standard MGTF Front Spotlights that fit at the bottom of the front bumper.

I did manage to find the following diagram online which I presume I can use as the correct guide to place the wires into the back of the green connector to place into the spotlight switch?  The question would then be what wires from the main loom I piggyback them into?  Also where the two separate wires connect to also that are coming from my kit loom? I will take a pic of the main loom in the car to see if that would help you to (hopefully!) help me work out which wires are which :-)

Again absolute brilliant responses so thank you so much for this guys, I really do appreciate it.

SO Cobber sir - no only fitting from spotlights thats all. It was a wiring loom 'kit' that I purchased from ebay as I thought it would be 'simple' to fit lol OOPS!

No kind of instructions sadly and so I am rather blind and I can't get hold of the seller and tbf I had purchased these ages ago. The fact I now have the whole dash out, I really can't be bothered to put it all back together until I can get these bloomin' spots/fogs wired in lol

Thank you for the rely info thats all really interesting.

I shall await for all of your response on what to do next then. I presume with all the wires (the 5 from the back of the green switch connector) and the positive and negative, all need to be directly attached/piggybacked into ones currently in the main car loom that spreads off to all other switches etc?! I will wait patiently until you guys basically tell me what to do, because I am so so lost with this and again, i'm really thankful for all of your help

OK so moving onto the next couple of pics and Questions (lol!).. you will see that from the loom itself, I have two units that come off from it.. one I presume (to the right in the oic) is a transformer of some kind?! and the one to left of the pic (with 'AD' written at the top) is an in-line fuse? So both the BLACK and white and also the RED and white wires pictured in the last pic (with connectors already on them) both come through the transformer, through the in-line fuse... so I presume these are positive and negative wires? In which case any ideas what they should be going into?  BUT also, wher eon earth does the green connector go to?! Its only got a RED and a BLUE wire going into it, and these come from the loom that goes thorugh the transformer also....Thanks so so much - i'd love to get this sorted :-)

My next (and easy) question is - I presume this is purely an earth that comes from the start of the loom near the actual fogs, that I can earth to anywhere on the body?

Thank you SO VERY MUCH for the responses so far - at last I don't feel alone in all of this !! :-)

OK so I have attached a few more pictures... I have worked out the the wires and green connector that I figured were 'spare' are in fact for the connector to the rear of the fog light switch! My question with all of this is, does anyone know in what order they are supposed to be going along/clicked inside of the green connector, or if in fact it makes difference? The second Question is; where do each of the ends of these wires go/get joined to?!

Hi so I have read the "How to's" on the front fog lights... and I must say that I can't quite work out where the only two cables that I have left, are meant to attach to lol This is mainly due to the fact that the whole loom I purchased came with its own in-line fuse, fog light button & connector etc, so I really only need connect the two wires to goodness knows what two wires lol...any ideas at all? (Sorry to be a complete pain)!!
