I'm deliberately looking for a car without leather seat centres. I find it gets bum scorching hot in summer. I had (have somewhere?) a black sheepskin
that I used to actually sit on. Much warmer in winter as well! It does cause much scoffing but I care not a jot.
Actually, grey centres might go better with the Goodwood green than the black!

As it happens I've had quite a bit of pure luck with EBay lately. The Management is bedroom redecorating and wanted to fit some rare small sketches around a mirror. These were a group of 4 limited edition individually coloured images of sailing barges. She had given 2 to my father and when he toppled of his perch she tried to get then back but 1 had already been snatched.
20 years later I put in a speculative search and it came up with a set of 3 - which just happened to be the 3 missing!! What chance ??

Thanks for the response and info. Frankly I don't know what to make of that car. Ticks a lot of boxes for what I want but so "bling"
with all the chrome bits, shiny badges etc. Will they come off cleanly? All that flash would irritate. The Reg. No does not go with the car - why so shy if you are trying to sell the thing.
So you cannot do an old MoT check? Or check with previous specialists. 5 owners in 22 years yet only 29800 miles. Good or Bad?

The Lexus lights are a bit pointless for me but not with a big chrome strip as well! Talk about OTT.

Anyone who has read my gibberish will be aware that I'm currently looking for a good (as in immediately useable) TF. Le Mans or BRG or Goodwood in diminishing (but not much) preference.
This ticks most of the boxes but is somewhat gaudy. Are these sparkly additions easily removable without damage?

The Lotus was a Elan +2 S 130/5. Bought off the original owner having had a £25000 restoration. (Allegedly)
Unfortunately it had been appallingly bodged by "Marque Specialists" and the old owner lied through his teeth!
Sad really It took 2 years and another £5K to sort.
It did go very well then and if an F / TF handles and rides anywhere near as well I'll be impressed!
As it happens the wheelbase and tracks are quite close to the F, its wider at the back and has a rear weight bias! And very sensitive to setup. A poorly sorted Elan is nasty.

Bit of a disaster - we don't talk about it.
What was the 2nd car in the 2nd image - looks a bit like a Tornado Talisman - component car of the 60's. They used to race a good bit.
