Sorry, I didn’t appreciate that the engine had a car attached to it. Would it be a technical exercise & would you be hoping for a right razzer at the end?
I’ve driven 116, 135, I have a 145 & was disappointed in a 160. Maybe the 116 & 135 were well & truly on song, the 160 off, but my car, although capable of a fair chunk of performance at the higher rev range, isn’t noticeably superior for nocking about, or when there is opportunity, for a right old spirited run over the moors & far away.
This is nothing other than a note of caution; I’ve seen a number of dead Land Rovers “gifted” to enthusiasts who have transferred a problem from one location to another & only one party was pleased with the outcome & it wasn’t the recipient.
