And while i was collecting the seats from the same guy i got the hardtop from I remembered to get the relay this time so the heated rear window is now working :woohoo:
and had a mad idea and bought bothhis side grilles for a fiver :lol: ..
and fitted them now i dont know if i should keep them the colour that are... or spray them the silver i had in mind lol

You are also good at the spraying and have given good descriptions, it is very easy to put on too much paint and get runs and sags. I sprayed a Fiesta for my children many years ago, they chose Ford Mercury Grey, well what a pig to spray :bang: the metal in the paint kept on sinking in the gun and you had to keep the gun shaken whilst getting a good even pass. it looked good in the finish but took longer to do in the end and used much more paint because i sprayed so many coats. the lacquer was a doddle.

thanks ..but what i didnt admit to was when i was fitting it all back together and installing the stereo head unit from my othe car it slipped and a sharpish corner scratch the paintwork up.. :bang: so i had to re touch it again
