thankyou, and yes even a temporary colour change needs to be reported to the dvla as it helps to prevent ringing of cars etc and acident reporting, I rang my insurance company to tell them of the colour change and even they said I didn't need to tell them as they take the colour from the DVLA's database and any changes get picked up on from there!

changed my dials after getting fed up of blue led lighting
a poor pic but you get the idea
then attended the FRL
unfortunately, waiting for the off she recieved a black eye from another MGF reversing (sorted now though)
on the M25 car park
the morning after, met some great, friendly people for the drive up to stoneleigh. can't say thanks enough for making us feel welcome on our first run

thankyou, yse I love the exhaust. sounded great through the dartford tunnel at the weekend :woohoo:
I fear there may be some bigger updates on here very soon as after all them miles I've found traces of coolant around the join between the inlet manifold and the engine. have ordered a new gasket just hoping that is the problem

thanks
Its paint, had a try with white plastidip but it was too transparent with red underneath and seemed to be struggling to stick in some places, so took the plunge and painted it
