If you had to resrict the bracing to one or two pieces, which would you keep? In other words which one(s) give(s) the best result?

The two cars a different in terms of modding for stiffness
The TF already gets the extra bracing as standard.. so every F should look to add these if they want to track day their car
Seam welded subframes and solid subframe mounts are a good idea (TF have solid mounts already)
Bracing between the shock towers on an F make sense if you are running uprated shocks
On a TF the spring towers could do with gussets adding and cross bracing
The body shell is fairly stiff.. but bracing under the bonnet and boot area make sense
Andy Watson had one of my 'towel rails' fitted under his bonnet.. and following the crash it was evident that everything in front of the towel rail twisted but everything behind it survived
Engine bay seam welding makes sense too.. Cheap if you cna weld and the subframe is out
I'd go for the easy ones.. poly bushes and stiffer shocks.. individulaise the spheres on an F..
Then go for seam welded subframes..
Then go for braces between the shock/ spring towers
Andy W and I have gone for uprated anti roll bars too.. plus uprated mounts for them..
Trouble is where do you stop..

But I'm going to look at a bolt on solution for him for boot braces and front and rear shock struts
So bolt on is possible... Although marginally less effective than weld on

I have to say though I have a bit of a problem with this site. Whenever I log in I find something else I have to do. Its getting bloody ridiculous. Now I have to check the coolant hoses. I'll update the todo list at some point but cant be bothered at the moment 'cause its so long.
