So given that the car doesn't owe me anything I am trying to decide if it is worth repairing.
It will need front wishbones, front brake pipes, welding and coolant pipes.
The bloke I bought it off had a quote for around £500 plus MOT.
If it cost say £600 to fix what would be a decent price to ask for the whole car? I would be looking to sell in the spring.
Its in decent condition body wise with just a few rust scabs and what looks like a poor spray job on the rear nearside. Standard 135 with smoke stone interior. 51k miles with a lovely clutch/gear change. Engine seems to run nice enough although not tested on a long run.
I am just thinking that I could probably make as much by selling as I could by breaking it given I can only remove so much myself. Plus it keeps another on the road.
