OK I had forgotten Aston Martin, however the generally accepted description of British Racing Green is as given on Wikipedia as "currently the term is used to denote a spectrum of deep, rich greens", so arguably the classic metallic light green as used by them isn't BRG and neither have AM ever called it that.

This pistonheads topic makes for some interesting reading https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=1540162 as does alsothe entire Wikipedia writing on this thorny and oft abused subject subject: - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_racing_green

I've been very close to a BRM, from both outside & in & apart from the characteristic orange nose of the later cars they were metallic green.

I've always liked the D Type Jags in BRG, but I'll have to stay a shade of "Green with Envy".

Erm... BRG
It came that colour: from colour fence.co.uk. It's actually metal.

Part of my garden fence and my shed are lime green, Mrs TC fancied the colour so I let her, she decided the colour, she paid for it and she applied it but I did give her a lift to the shop.
