Border Patrol Holiday 2013 - Wales

Much against Annes advice I thought I would try this post again.



We are staying in accommodation, Saturday July 13th until Saturday July 20th in a small place called Glanaman, not too far from Swansea, at the foot of the Black Mountains.

2013s holiday will be in Wales to allow time to save for another possible jaunt overseas in 2014.

Just realised the Black Mountain Pass, as driven on Top Gear while testing the Mercedes AMG63 Black is litterally on our doorstep.

This route takes in the Black Mountain Pass and adds a few more sites.

I would be up for this... But don't know for deffo if my car will be on the road.. A lot will depend on cash flow between now n then..

Sounds like a cracking break though..

That's a shame, surely all that was needed back then was a post simply saying it was a private holiday for a small group of people who had signed up and paid and was not open to all other MG owners.

Anne come back, otherwise who is ever going to keep Clive in check :whistle: Forgiveness is a wonderful act and often quite liberating.

Ah I know this road well, worked here a few times - last week actually, myself and the TF spent a miserable two days there. Its a cracking bit of tarmac, just a shame it doesn't last a bit longer


Look hard enough and you'll see me behind the wheel of the red one on that road...

Differing expectations from some who'd booked for the week, and those who'd liked to have stopped by for a run .... or more .... :dry:

TBH, most were cool about things, but one or two feared 'gatecrashers' .... :shrug: .... needless to say Anne felt she couldn't do right for doing wrong, which is a damned shame after all her efforts.

If anyone is blameless, it's her. :hugs:
