However, if you're looking to blame someone. Rightly or wrongly, it was me that suggested a co-ordinated event with the holiday party for those who might have wanted to 'pop in' and say hi, attend a run there, maybe stay overnight in the area, have a get together etc. However, opinions were split on that suggestion and the offer was withdrawn here. Lessons were learnt. :hugs:

It's very nice that it's been brought back here now. Thankyou.

That's all in the past.

It wasn't the meeting up etc, it was the way the suggestions were moving round to a BBQ/party at the holiday accommodation and possibly people sleeping over, which we couldn't accommodate.

As said at the time, if someone wants to organise a meet in the area where we can all meet up then that is great, but the accommodation will just be for the people who have paid.

Nobody to blame, just a lot of misunderstandings. :broon:

Look! I've got Munchausens syndrome by proxy ok. So, just let me take the blame for himself causing all that trouble and leave it at that will you!

If it's not Jan, I've no idea who it could be. If you hang on long enough it'll be Bongo. :o

Border Patrol are once again hosting a group holiday. Based in Glanamman, at the end of the Mountain Road into the Brecon Beacons, we will be spending the week, driving some beautiful roads, eating, drinking (not the drivers!) and generally chilling. There will be no plans of what we are going to do each day, just some ideas of where we might go, and, much like Aviemore, we will decide the night before what we want to do the next day.

There are two twin rooms available. Let me or Clive know if you are interested, the cost is just over £145 pp when sharing (£291.26 per room). If both rooms are filled, there would be a small refund as the price would drop to around £130pp (£258.90 per room).

One twin room is available in this house.

The houses are just a few yards apart and the 2nd one will probably only be used for sleeping in I would expect.

This will be a fantastic trip for all. The Border Patrol prides itself on having fun and good runs.
I wish circumstances( finances) allowed me to go along on this holiday. The Italy Border Patrol was outstanding!

Newcomers are always made most welcome on these dos, and you will soon get used to Clive's strange ways,

If anyone's considering joining us for the week in Wales, now would be the time to speak up as Anne will be finalising the booking in the next few days :broon:

For just under £300 (per 2 person room) for a weeks holiday, you get to stay.....

in one of these places:

With some of these people (cones may be optional)

And get to drive on roads like this:

And possibly even get to try some of this :yesnod:
